What information do we collect?
If you are a user with general public and anonymous access the DNEAT website does not store or capture personal information, but merely logs the user's IP address that is automatically recognised by the web server. The IP address is considered personal information so it will not be used for profiling or marketing purposes without gaining informed consent from you.
We collect information from visitors to the DNEAT website in the following way:
• Requests for information or services via email and online form
You can ask for information or request services in 5 ways: by requests and questions sent by an online form, e-mail, phone, post or in person. You can make comments and give us your feedback in the same way.
If you send an e-mail or complete a form on the website asking for information or a service, or sending a comment that requires a response, it will be passed to the appropriate department who will respond to you. We do not pass on your details to any third party unless you give us permission or if the Trust is legally obliged to do so.
After we have replied to you, we will keep a record of your message for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data is processed. Therefore, unless the personal data contained in the message is being processed solely for archiving purposes in the public interest (e.g. safeguarding a child or a health and safety issue) the message will be deleted immediately upon the resolution of your enquiry or request for information.
