Whitefriars Headteacher Mat Tuckwood collecting first prize

We welcome the Unity Federation, Sculthorpe, West Raynham and Colkirk Church of England Primary Academies to the DNEAT family from 1 December. DNEAT have been looking forward to Unity joining and a lot of hard work has gone on behind the scenes to ensure they became academies at the beginning of the month. There have been other success stories with Whitefriars Church of England Primary winning Best Primary school in the Lynne Awards and students from Open, Kessingland and Peterhouse who took over the Norwich Castle Museum for a day. Children manned the information desk, made public announcements over the tannoy, gave demonstrations and presentations on 3D printers and the Raspberry Pi computer watched by members of the public as well as parents, teachers and DNEAT staff.

We wish all our academies a Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year as we look forward to the rest of the festive season ahead
