‘There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.’
St Peter & St Paul Carbrooke are looking for a great teacher to work within lower key stage 2. We are highly focused on positive mindset and are seeking staff who will engage with children, parents, staff and the community.
We are hoping you are the person who can work with us, on our academy improvement, on our vision and to support the move to outstanding teaching and learning for our young people. An interest or experience in leading SEND would be welcome, but not essential.
We believe that the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust (DNEAT) has the potential to transform education for children and become a high performing trust of which its pupils, staff and community can be proud. We see a great opportunity and challenge ahead of us and are at the stage of our journey where we need to build rapidly on the firm foundations established. The Trust is extremely supportive of St Peter & St Paul, and gives guidance, training and support to staff at all levels. This enables them to give the best education and a 360° approach to life that the children and their families need and deserve. We are building an aspirational culture to which all stakeholders are proud to belong.
Are you going to put in the extra mile to help our journey move rapidly?
What can you offer us? What can we offer you in return?
Friendly, happy, caring children; dedicated staff; leadership team with a vast array of experience; PPA time with flexibility and regular CPD in line with academy improvement and a staffroom that is well stocked with yummy things! Staff demonstrate high levels of well-being, and enjoy their work.
We await the right candidate – starting at the beginning of June if possible, or early July for NQT’s.
‘It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes lives, but what we do consistently’
The academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A full DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate and other procedures and checks will be followed.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations.
