"I wish our lessons ran until 4pm so we could stay at school for more learning!" (Year 6, October 2017).

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, committed and self-reflective Key Stage 2 class teacher who will deliver consistently high quality lessons and continue to promote our ethos of putting pupils at the heart of everything that we do.

You will be confident at working with older KS2 children with a range of ability levels; planning and delivering lessons that excite, challenge and engage these learners.
You will be a dedicated and skilled practitioner with high expectations and aspirations for every pupil, with a commitment to ensuring excellent rates of academic and social and emotional progress. This position is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced colleague wanting to broaden their experience.

Children enjoy their time with us here at Carbrooke and are very keen to learn. Our aim is to create caring and respectful children who play an active role in their local community and who take responsibility for their actions and the academic progress they make.

"Our school is somewhere we are proud of, and we want to tell everyone about how we are making the difference" (Year 5, October 2017).

A distinctive element of DNEAT academies are that whilst they have the potential for significant growth and scale they are also local and small enough to have meaningful working relationships between each other. They are committed to a collaborative approach with head teachers, governors, staff and the central team at DNEAT working together. A leadership structure across the trust which give multiple opportunities for CPD, support, networking and links to the wider academy community. The core training and development spans school staff at all levels and provides multiple opportunities.

If you would like to be part of our future, working in our academy and fulfil this fantastic opportunity, your application will be welcomed.

Visits to the school are encouraged, please contact the Claire Schofield in the school office.
