Dereham CofE Infant Academy Celebrate Remembrance Day

Dereham CofE Infant Academy celebrated Remembrance day and have been learning about World War 1.
On Tuesday 11th November Mrs Cole, Miss Titmarsh and the School Council attended the Remembrance Day Ceremony in the town centre. They observed the two minute silence and then laid wreaths that were made by pupils from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes by the cenotaph.
Miss Reeve, their History subject leader also organised and created a Remembrance display on their school fence using children’s creations from each class.
