Our Local Governing Bodies
The Department for Education published five pillars of quality for multi academy trusts.
The five pillars are:
- High-Quality and Inclusive Education
- School Improvement
- Workforce
- Finance and Operations
- Governance and Leadership
Primary responsibility for these functions is held by the Trust Board of Trustees, but it delegates responsibilities to the committees of the Trust Board, including the Local Governing Body (LGB) of each academy, and roles within the Trust Central Team via the Scheme of Delegation.
Our Local Governing Bodies consist of approximately 6 Trust Appointed Governors, 2 Parent Governors, 1 Staff Governor and the Headteacher.
The full LGB meets twice each term.
