Primary Class Walk Raises Money For Local Food Bank

Fry class at Caston Church of England Primary Academy, raised just over £100 for Watton Food Bank by doing a sponsored walk where the class of four- to six-year-olds walked ten laps, nearly 2.5 miles, around the school field.
Sarah Disney, Executive Head Teacher of Caston Church of England Primary Academy said: “The children decided to do this after learning about Rosa Parks and Malala Yousafzai and how they made a positive change in the world. They wanted to see if they could make their own change and help other people.”
She added: “We are immensely proud of their grown-up attitude and how they wanted to make their own difference to the area they live in.”
