School Champions Day

Bishop Graham hosted a School Champion Day in the grounds of his wonderful garden on Wednesday 21 June to celebrate the Diocese schools and the academies within the DNEAT and St Benet’s Multi Academy Trusts.
The schools and academies were asked to nominate their teachers, students and governors for special awards and those people were presented with certificates by Bishop Graham.
Within DNEAT we celebrated many ‘champions’ from school governors, teachers, staff and pupils and we were exceptionally proud of each and everyone.
After the awards ceremony, Bishop Graham invited all attendees to have a celebratory lunch and each guest was given a small wooden holding cross made from olive wood grown in Bethlehem.
